Returning from dealing with a knee issue and sinus infection, Malkin's knee was hurt in a fluke play. Sounds like this could affect his status well into 2011-12 for those in keeper or dynasty leagues. If Jordan Staal hasn't been picked up yet, he's an obvious pickup since he's now the Pens #1 Center until Crosby returns.
