Someone just proposed the following trade to me:
Wil Myers, my 1st rounder in next year's draft, and John Buck
For Carlos Santana
16 team points-based league that values walks and power, and puts less value on steals, runs, and RBI's.
My team is ready to compete right now. I have Pujols, Hanley, Longoria, CarGo, Billy Butler, Tulowitzki, Rickie Weeks, Felix, Liriano, Hamels, Morrow, and decent depth.
My current catchers are Miguel Montero and John Buck, with Jesus Montero in the minors and I just drafted Carlos Perez in our recent minor league draft. I feel relatively comfortable at catcher with Miguel Montero, but I have a chance to get an elite guy in Santana now instead of having to wait for Myers to produce in 3-4 years.
What says the community?
