Fantasy Hockey 2011: Saturday Starting Backup Goalies

This article talks about the backup goalies who have been verified to start today so you don't get a goose-egg in your stats when you're trying to play your starter.

Jason LaBarbera Curtis McElhinney, Coyotes vs. Wild - He's only started against the Wild twice in his career but it hasn't gone well either time. UPDATE Different goalie, still bad record against the Wild. END UPDATE I couldn't recommend using him even with the Wild struggling to win the past several games.

Jhonas Enroth, Sabres vs. Senators - He's done a good job in three career starts against the Sens. Worth a start if you have him.

There's not much else to report at this time so be sure to check back later on today to see if there's any more verified news on backup goaltenders who are starting today. That's about it from the backups starting front. Good luck and Happy New Year!

While I have your attention, are you going to watch the 2012 Winter Classic on Monday? If you are, who are you rooting for between the NY Rangers and the Philadelphia Flyers? Check out the poll below and vote.
