My apologies for the lack of articles the last few days. Remember yesterday when I said I had two sick kids at home and had to take care of my mother. Well, I caught the stomach virus that my kids had, and have passed it to my mother. Not fun.

So here is a quick post for today. Who would you rather have as your third baseman in 2012-David Wright or Brett Lawrie? Wright is coming off an injury plagued 2011 season, but there is optimism that he can regain his power stroke now that the Mets have finally moved in their fences at Citi Field.

Lawrie comes with much hype and an excellent bat. He hit very well for the Blue Jays in 2011, but 2012 will be his first full season in the big leagues, and we all know how guys like Jason Heyward and Pedro Alvarez fared in 2011. Will pitchers make adjustments when pitching to Lawrie in 2012? And how will Lawrie react? Will he react with his own adjustments at the plate?

Both, when healthy, can provide fantasy owners with a 20-20 season with a .275-.280 BA, but both have question marks coming into the 2012 season.

Who would you rather have in 2012?
