Thanks for providing help.

I noticed that Michael Bush did not practice Wednesday and so now I’m concerned about playing him. He’s currently slotted at RB/WR, and I could place Shonn Greene, Jeremy Maclin, Felix Jones, Laurent Robinson, or Antonio Brown there instead of Bush. Who do you consider to be the best start?

Just for reference, I have AP and Mathews at my other RB spots and Calvin Johnson and Spiller at my WR spots.

start M. Bush

He practiced today and was only held out yesterday to give him some rest.

Several decisions to make

At WR I have to pick 3 of the 4: Santonio Holmes, Laurent Robinson, Demaryius Thomas and Jeremy Maclin. Thinking of sitting Maclin or Holmes.

At TE I am thinking of starting Brent Celek over Brandon Pettigrew.

At DEF/ST I am thinking of starting Seattle over Chicago.

Thanks for the advice.

WR- start Holmes, Robinson and Thomas. I don’t like the looks of Maclin and his hamstring problem.

TE- start Celek. He played very well against the Cowboys in their first matchup this season and the way he played last week, I would go with him

DEF- start Seattle. The Bears are going to be in real trouble against Green Bay.

Help me pick 3 of these RB's

Kevin Smith
Arian Foster
C.J. Spiller
Roy Helu
Felix Jones

by PhoenixFan on Dec 22, 2011 3:03 AM EST reply actions

PhoenixFan

start Foster, Spiller and Helu. Foster has had the Colts number recently.
Spiller just keeps getting touches and putting up the yardage and some TD’s too
Helu should get back to his 100 yard days as the Vikings are a team playing out the season

WR Help

I need to start 3. S.Smith, D.Bryant, B.Lloyd, M.Manningham, D. Williams(Tenn.).

by Evil Empire on Dec 22, 2011 9:46 AM EST via Android app reply actions

Evil Empire

start Steve Smith, Dez Bryant and Manningham
I don’t trust Lloyd or Williams. Lloyd has serious QB issues on his team and Williams only put up 15 yards last week.

Battle for 3rd Place

Well I took a brutal loss last weekend (lost bye 6 pts….oh Adrian Peterson/McGahee why have you forsaken me…sigh) and now I am in the game to decide 3rd place. Once again thanks for all the help and good luck to all.

14 Team PPR league. Please pick one QB…two RB’s…two WR’s and one FLEX.

QB
Tony Romo/Matt Ryan

RB
Adrian Peterson/Willis McGahee/Darren Sproles/Toby Gerhart

WR
Vincent Jackson/Nate Washington/Demaryius Thomas/Nate Burleson

I hope to join Claude Lemieux in Hell one day for a beer....

HELLAWAITS

sorry to here that, I think AP and McGahee disappointed alot of owners last week.

QB- start Ryan. It’s close between them but I give the edge to Ryan after last week’s awesome game and with White and J. Jones finally playing to their potential.

RB- start AP and McGahee. AP is off the injury report and should put in more of a complete game, while McGahee is facing his old team (Buffalo) who was absolutely torched by Reggie Bush last week.

WR- start Jackson and Thomas. They’re playing at a high level and remain their team’s number one targets. I think Burleson had a great week last week but drops back down against the Chargers. Washington is good but I prefer your other two this week.

Flex- start Sproles. He’s been so great this season especially in PPR

It’s ok…I meant “by” not “bye”. Ha.

So...

My squad is below, title game at stake…
I think my only real quandary is at the flex. I don’t trust my GB running backs sharing possibly limited touches vs. da bears. J Stewart is penciled in given the matchup, but with V Jax gimpy and the Chargers offense resurgent, I’m thinking Malcom Floyd might be the better option with his ability to possibly handcuff a bad performance out of Jackson.

Whaddya think?!? Any other changes you’d consider?

M. Stafford QB
A. Peterson RB
C. Spiller RB
L. Fitzgerald WR
V. Jackson WR
J Stewart Flex
B. Celek TE
J. Hanson K
Jets DST

Bench:

J. Starks, R. Grant, M. Floyd, J. Knox, Lions D, K Winslow

I like your lineup the way it is but...

I would keep an eye out for the active/inactive before the Charger game, if V. Jackson isn’t going to play, than put in Floyd. But I would leave Stewart at Flex. If you’re going to win your title game, you need points from every spot, so make sure Jackson is playing.

ForTheTitle

Pick two Rb for TD-heavy non-ppr league.

F Jones (Dal)
R Helu
Spiller
Green-Ellis
K. Bell (Chi)
L Ball (Den).

by guthrya2 on Dec 23, 2011 2:57 PM EST via Android app reply actions

start K. Bell and Spiller

So many health issues with most of the other guys. Spiller has been showing a nose for the end zone and I like Bell’s chances now that he’s been named the starter

Ravens WR

Is Torrey Smith a good fill in for Boldin? I also have M Williams (TB) and Manningham.

Recent development...

So it seems VIncent Jackson is very questionable for the game tomorrow. So in preparation that he does not play (or plays hurt) I dropped Nate Burleson and picked up Malcolm Floyd. So….now my roster looks like this:

14 Team PPR league. Please pick one QB…two RB’s…two WR’s and one FLEX.

QB
Tony Romo/Matt Ryan

RB
Adrian Peterson/Willis McGahee/Darren Sproles/Toby Gerhart

WR
Vincent Jackson/Nate Washington/Demaryius Thomas/Malcolm Floyd

What do you think? Thanks again!

I hope to join Claude Lemieux in Hell one day for a beer....

by HELLAWAITS on Dec 23, 2011 5:07 PM EST reply actions

QB- Ryan
RB- AP and McGahee
WR- start Jackson and Thomas. I think if Jackson plays than he’ll put up points despite the injury. If you are still concerned than I would replace him with Washington.
Flex- Sproles
