Help me win! Who to start on offense?
14 Team PPR league.
Second week (2 weeks per round) all tied after first week! Winner goes to the finals!!!
So….
My WR roster:
Vincent Jackson
Nate Washington
Nate Burleson
Malcolm Floyd
My RB roster:
Adrian Peterson
Darren Sproles
Willis McGahee
Toby Gerhart
Tight End Roster:
Vernon Davis/Jake Ballard
Please pick two WR’s, two RB’s, one TE and add one WR/RB for the FLEX.
As of now I am thinking to set my starting line up as:
WR’s Nate Washington/Nate Burleson
RB’s Adrian Peterson/Willis McGahee
FLEX Darren Sproles
Thank you for your help!
Good luck to everyone in their games….
I hope to join Claude Lemieux in Hell one day for a beer....
Oops meant to say:

I would go with that exact lineup and then..
start Ballard as my tight end. He’s playing Washington and Davis is going against Baltimore. Ballard should outscore him by a good 3 or 4 points.
Ha…forgot to add my TE choice. Thanks for the message. Yes I was on the fence about benching Davis (against Pittsburgh) but he really has been letting me down and Ballard does have a good match up against Washington. So I may have to sit big Vern for the first time since his bye week.
I hope to join Claude Lemieux in Hell one day for a beer....
Steve Smith is going up against Johnathan Joseph this week...
Would you start Demaryius Thomas or Jabar Gaffney over him?
I'm leaning towards Gaffney
Smith has the tough defensive matchup and I think Thomas will do well but Gaffney will put up the most points of the three WR

WR help
Pick two: Antonio Brown, Stevie Johnson, Roddy White, Larry Fitzgerald
Right now I’m leaning towards Brown and White. But I’ve managed to start the wrong two for pretty much the last month. Sat Fitz and Brown last week and got lucky to win my playoff matchup.
start White and Fitz
White will be going against a decimated Jaguar secondary this week.
Fitz is facing a tough defense but so are your other two WR. I give him the edge because of his experience and his quarterbacks know to just keep targeting him
by dukeallstar on Dec 14, 2011 11:08 PM EST up reply actions
I agree with the above...
Antonio Brown is tempting, but Julio Jones’ hamstring might lead to more targets for RW.
I'm quite charismatic.
White is in
I’m debating between Brown, Johnson, and Fitz.
Brown is going against the same SF defense that Fitz just torched last week, Fitz is getting Joe Haden in Cleveland, who just limited Mike Wallace pretty heavily (though he did slip and give Brown his 79-yd TD), and Stevie Johnson is a much bigger part of the offense w/ Fred Jackson out.
DeMarco going down has hurt me a lot
Especially on the heels of FJax a couple weeks ago and DMC a couple months ago… Of course Felix Jones is still owned, so he’s a no-go. Picked up Ivory and Bell on the chance that one of them is my best option.
Need 2 RBs, 2 WRs, and a flex
RB – Rice, MBush, DMC, Ben Tate, Chris Ivory, Kahlil Bell
WR – Nicks, Marshall, Lloyd
At this point I’m thinking I start all 3 WRs with Rice and Bush instead of taking a chance on one of the weaker RB plays.
Thoughts?
It figures that I’d be the highest-scoring team and mostly healthy all year until the last few weeks of the season!
GJS
That really sux. The injuries this year have really hurt some good fantasy teams. Your team would have been fierce with those other backs healthy
RB- start Rice and Bush. a pretty good combo despite the injuries you have faced.
WR- start Nicks and Lloyd.
Flex- start Marshall

I think am going with...
QB – Brady
RB – Foster
RB/WR – Grant
WR – Victor Cruz
WR – Steve Smith
WR – Demariyus Thomas
TE – Tony Gonzo
D – Bengals
K – Cundiff
Bench –
Vjax
Mike Wallace
Brandon Lloyd
Tebow
Maclin
Gore
Texans D
What do others think?
My thinking on Grant...
Is that GB will post a decent lead, then start resting Rodgers / running the ball, and with Starks out Grant has a good chance to do some damage (and besides, KC’s run D is pretty bad too)
Vjax – Baltimore D
Lloyd – Rams are terrible
Wallace – Big Ben possibly out? Or at least hobbled. (I don’t want a WR with Batch throwing)
Maclin – not 100%
Gore – Same / 9ers will rest him at ANY opportunity (like last week – 10 carries only in a close game!)
Yoostey
I agree with everything but..
WR- I would start VJax instead of Thomas. I think Jackson will get his against the Ravens defense.Even if the Chargers fall behind, they’ll need to go to Jackson to catch up. I think he’s the much safer pick than Thomas.
Flex- I’d start Wallace. I think Big Ben will play and Wallace will torch the 49ers for at least 100 yards and a TD
Flex spot, PPR...
… Darrius Heyward-Bey, Malcolm Floyd, Deion Branch, or Jake Ballard?
Other PPR league- Steven Jackson or CJ Spiller at RB? and Should Anquan Boldin start over either Julio Jones, Brandon Marshall, or AJ Green?

Gotta go with Ballard for your flex
Eli has the hot hand.

Erick
1st flex- start Floyd. I think he holds the biggest reward for your flex spot. I think he’ll go 6 rec for 80 yards+ 1 TD
other PPR- RB-start Jackson. He will get his points despite his poor surroundings.
WR- start AJ Green. He’ll destroy the weak Ram secondary

Greg Jennings' injury
kind of screwed me. Luckily I do have WR depth.
I have Nicks in, obv.
Then I also have the following:
Laurent Robinson (leaning towards him)
Demaryius Thomas (huge upside, great matchup, lousy hands)
James Jones (picked up off the WW, total lottery ticket)
Andre Johnson (day-to-day and iffy, otherwise he’d be in)

pete
start Laurent Robinson. They’re facing the Bucs who have been getting absolutely torched.

QB: Stafford, Tebow, Yates
RB: Greene, AP, SJax
WR: Cruz, Maclin, VJax, Colston, Austin
TE: Gronk, Graham
1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 QWRT Flex.
Right now I have Stafford, AP, Greene, Cruz, VJax, Colston, Gronk and Graham starting. PPR.
KEMvP
"You know Joe, if Keith Jardines last name was Johnson, the nickname 'The Dean of Mean' wouldn't work at all."
T.C.
QB- start Stafford
RB- start AP and Greene
WR- start Cruz, Colston and Austin. I like Austin better than Vjax because Austin is facing the Very poor Tampa defense.
TE- start Gronk
Flex- start Tebow. I like having a QB in my flex and think he’ll out point Graham by 8 or 9 points.

Would you start any of these WRs over Santonio Holmes?
Torrey Smith
Demaryius Thomas
Reggie Wayne
Holmes’ weekly 30 yard outage is making me sick!
I'm quite charismatic.
Torrey Smith
He has high upside, but is a definite boom or bust play. On the bright side, he is going up against a fairly soft San Diego pass defense. It’s more a question of play calling and which Joe Flacco you get on Sunday Night.
by sasperilla_pete on Dec 15, 2011 9:41 AM EST up reply actions
Mr. Charisma
start Thomas. He’s been producing consistently over the last few games and the Patriot secondary is giving up alot of yards.
by dukeallstar on Dec 15, 2011 12:27 PM EST up reply actions
Added Demaryius Thomas off of waivers...
Mostly added to block my opponents need for a WR this week…BUT…would you plug him in to this line up anywhere? Or should I keep him benched? Faces the terrible NE secondary this weekend…hmmmm.
WR’s Nate Washington/Vincent Jackson
RB’s Adrian Peterson/Willis McGahee
FLEX Darren Sproles
Thanks!
I hope to join Claude Lemieux in Hell one day for a beer....
I'd start Thomas instead of Washington at WR
I agree that he has a super matchup going against the Pats weak secondary
by dukeallstar on Dec 15, 2011 12:30 PM EST up reply actions
Thanks. Guess I will wait and see if Washington even practices and go from there. It would be tough to bench him if he plays and Locker is at QB. He and Locker have shown great chemistry together. Also my mind tells me to bench V Jax against the Ravens pass rush and secondary but my loyalty/instincts tell me to play him. Really struggling with that one.
I hope to join Claude Lemieux in Hell one day for a beer....
Pick One QB and 3 WR standard scoring
QB
Grossman or Locker
WR
Stevie Johnson, Colston, Santana Moss, Mike Williams (TB) or Brandon Lloyd
Jack
QB- start Grossman. It’s close but I give the edge to Rex. He had success against the Giants the first time around and even if the Skins fall behind, that means more passing for him. The Giants have been giving up alot of points over the last few games.
WR- start Colston, Santana Moss and Mike Williams. Colston is a must start. As above, Moss should benefit from the generosity of the Giants defense. And Mike Williams will be targeted quite a bit as the Bucs try to keep up with the Cowboys
