Week 14 All Fantasy Football Questions Answered Thread
Darren McFadden will not play again this week. It has now been almost two months that fantasy owners have been without McFadden and it sure is getting frustrating. With the fantasy playoffs starting this week for most, it would have been great to have the option of starting him. Head coach Hue Jackson has said there has been no setbacks and that he thinks he'll be back this season. With McFadden not even practicing on a limited basis, it remains doubtful that he'll see the field at all during the regular season. Hopefully all McFadden owners could see this coming and handcuffed Michael Bush. Do you think Darren McFadden will play at all in weeks 15-17?
The outlook for Adrian Peterson is a little more brighter than McFadden. He will be a game time decision for Sunday's matchup in Detroit. He practiced on a limited basis on Thursday and Friday. If Peterson does play, he will be a really good start against Detroit. Ndamukong Suh is out for the game with his suspension and Peterson averages 99 yards and a touchdown/game against Detroit. Would you feel safe starting AP against Detroit this week?
In other injury news, Jeremy Maclin was downgraded from probable to questionable for this week's matchup against Miami. He has missed the past three games with shoulder and hamstring injuries but it really looked like he would play this week. Maclin travelled with the team down to Miami, so he also will be a game time decision. It would be wise for Maclin owners to have their backup plan ready to spring into action, if the word comes down that Maclin will miss his fourth straight game. Who do you feel is more injury prone, DeSean Jackson or Jeremy Maclin?
Let us know how you feel about these situations or ask us any fantasy football question in the comments below.

A Start Question
Is starting Chaz Schilens the worst idea out there? Maclin, Laurent Robinson and Golden Tata are my other WR3 options, but I just have a feeling Schilens could come up big against the GB secondary.
I am also starting Steven Hauschka over Jason Hason as a K. Is this another crazy idea?

I prefer Robinson. It’s looking real good that he’s going to play and with Austin and Bryant drawing the tougher coverage, Robinson should have an easy matchup. I feel that the Oakland passing game has sort of fallen apart the last few weeks and that the Packer defense is going to make it really difficult for Carson Palmer.
I agree about going Hauschka over Hanson. Playing the Rams should result in alot of points for him.
Thanks for the advice
L. Robinson is having a great game. Just need Hauschka to outperform Marshawn Lynch tomorrow…

start Brandon Marshall. It looks like the Eagles are giving up on the season. With Moore at QB, Marshall’s numbers have bounced back and they’re playing at home.I’m thinking 8 catches, over 100 yards and a touchdown.
Help with my Lineup please!
QB -Tebow or Romo?
RB (2) – Arian Foster, Demarco Murray, Roy Helu, CJ Spiller, Kevin Smith
WR (2) – Jeremy Maclin, Mike Williams, Steve SMith, Andre johnson, Santana Moss
Flex – 1 from RB or WR
thanks :)
Personally:
Romo
Foster, Murray
Maclin, Smith
Helu

QB- start Romo. This game is very important for the Cowboys and he has Austin back to add to Witten, Bryant and Robinson. While Tebow is facing the Bears defense.
RB- start Foster and Murray. both are must starts
WR- start steve smith and mike Williams. From Smith I’m expecting over 100 yards and a touchdown. For Williams, 75-80 yards and a touchdown.
Flex- Helu. He should have a very good game against the Patriots defense

start Helu. He has been a top 10 back over the last 3 weeks. The Skins are using him as an every down back and it looks like he’ll be a fantasy football playoff hero.
WR/flex
I’ve got Andre Johnson out already and Maclin was just down graded. If he doesn’t go I’ve got to choose between Damian Williams, Early Doucet, Lance Moore, Brad Smith and Pierre Thomas for 1WR and 1 Flex spot.
Caheezy
WR- start Damian Williams. Nate Washington is iffy, so Williams will be looked at as the number one WR and with the Titans probably dropping behind, Williams will benefit with a lot of targets
Flex- start P. Thomas. He will benefit from Ingram being out and will get a nice increase in touches. I’m thinking he gets about 90 combined yards, 2 or 3 receptions and a touchdown
WR help
After choosing to sit Antonio Brown (damn), I now have to choose between Brandon Lloyd, Nate Burleson, and DHB. Who is the safe play, and who would be the high risk/high reward?
Gold Miners
The safe play would be Brandon Lloyd. He has been very consistant since he joined the Rams (except for last week). He played pretty well in his first matchup with Seattle.
The high risk/ high reward would be Heyward-Bey. The risk would be Green Bay shutting the Oakland passing game completely down with their pass rush/secondary. The reward would be that Oakland will be playing from behind and Denarius Moore and Jacoby Ford are out, so DHB would receive the lion share of the targets when the Raiders play catch up.
Jacoby Jones or Daniel Thomas?

Toby Gerhart, LeGarrette Blount, or BJGE?
Blount has done nothing but infuriate me all season, but he’s the feature back. BJGE gets the goal-line carries, but could get totally shut out. And I’m going against the guy who owns AP, so there’s that “screw-you” factor for Gerhart.
PLAYOFFS?!?
Well, I went Blount
Looks like the smart play so far…
