Got a question about a baseball trade I'm mulling - a little background:
Quick league preface: 12 teams, 40 man MLB rosters, 65 man MiLB rosters. My team is in the lower third in talent level with the exception of Mike Stanton and Ryan Zimmerman at the MLB level, but have several good prospects that should emerge in the next few years (Carlos Martinez, Arenado, Sano) and some emerging pitchers (Rubby, Nicasio, Duffy). Point being, I’m looking to compete in 2013 or later, not in 2012.
If you had to deal Stanton or Zimmerman in order to get Profar (along with several other minor league pieces, but JP would be the headliner), would you do it, and if so, which player would you deal? Thanks!
