The previous owner was not the most active, but still managed to finish 2 games back from a playoff spot. The team up for inheritance is stacked, and is top 3 in the league, regarding quality of players and their low cost. The replacement owner is responsible for selecting between 8 and 16 of the following players to keep, by signing them to contracts.

Players chosen to keep, can be tendered contracts ranging from one to six years. Longer contracts are subject to signing bonus' and draft pick compensation. Keeper salaries are deducted from a $300 budget, with the remainder to be used during the free agent auction. Our league is designed to enable owners, the opportunity to field a championship squad in any given season. James Shields and JJ Hardy are unbelievable bargains, with Kimbrel, Jansen and Espinosa being not too shabby either.
