Add/Drop Dilemma

So, I am in a 12 team keeper league. My keeper has been (and barring catastrophic injury will continue to be) Adrian Peterson. This year, the day before rumors of a third surgery appeared in the news, I drafted Peyton Manning in the 4th round. I decided to stash him on my bench and see what happens. My QBs are Flacco and Hasselbeck. I am, however, weak at WR3 and TE. So, should I drop Manning (and hope he doesn't play this year) and pick up Tebow? My thinking is this: I may be able to trade one of those three QBs for an upgrade at WR or TE. No one seems to be biting on trade proposals for Manning right now. Or, should I wait it out and see if Manning comes back for the stretch run. My team is pretty stacked other than that (Forte, Welker, C. Johnson, Peterson). If Manning were to play the end of the season, I'd be hard to beat....on the other hand, it's like holding a lottery ticket and waiting for you numbers to be called, though you know the odds are astronomically against you.

Dump Manning

The Colts would have to be arrested for criminal stupidity if they brought Manning back to play at the end of this season. And that’s if he would even be healthy enough to play.

If I picked up Tebow, I’d be moving a QB for the best TE or WR3 I can get

Nope…..Right now I have Sidney Rice as my WR3 and D. Moore (Raiders) on the bench. My TEs are Winslow and Davis….So, on waivers, there aren’t any upgrades available, just more of the same. So, I’m trying to figure out how I can best leverage a better WR3 or TE.

mannings injury situation makes him not worthy of being owned for this year… i would be worried about losing value for next yr but i dont see him playing this year
also, tebow will be a good fantasy qb b/c of his rushing ability… his upside is a consistent 15-16 pts a game and your weekly starter or good trade bait
i think the tebow for manning swap is a good move for your team
