Keeper League Trade
So I am in a Keeper League and I just made a trade, so I would like your thoughts. We get 5 keepers and its an Auction League. I traded Brian McCann $14 for Justin Verlander $18. McCann is in the last year of his contract and Verlander can be kept for the 2012 season. I wanted to keep 2 SPs and now I am teaming up Verlander with Adam Wainwright. McCann, Joe Mauer, Victor Martinez, Buster Posey and Carlos Santana will all be kept. My keepers are now $18 Verlander, $8 Wainwright, $5 Delmon Young, $7 Jayson Werth and $37 Miguel Cabrera. During the auction you get $260. Let me know your thoughts. I believe I got the best player, but since it's a deeper position it could be a questionable call.

Other SPs Available
The best starter available will be Felix but after him the drop if is pretty big for elite starters. I would say the 2nd best available will be Dan Haren and after that you are looking at pitchers who you won’t have in the top 15 and most likely on the outside of the top 20. I would say guys like Phil Hughes, John Danks, Brett Anderson, Wandy Rodriguez and Matt Garza will be the best of the bunch.
Interesting offer
I love both of those players and they are both extremely consistent. I would see if the other owner would toss in a cheap player you’ve had your eye on. The drop off from the top catchers is pretty steep but it looks like so is the gap from Verlander to the pitchers available. If you think you could get Felix I’d rather have Felix/McCann than Verlander/Wieters/Montero/Suzuki. Even Haren/McCann is a better combo in my eyes. If you deal McCann I’d keep an eye on Soto as a replacement.
