Dynasty Draft--11th Pick

PrintHey guys, I'm in a 20 team first year dynasty league. I have the 11th pick in the draft to start out with. Assuming all the big guys are gone (Hellickson,Chapman, Trout,Jennings, Moustakas, Montero) how would you rank the following players: Chris Carter, Brett Lawrie, Zach Britton, Eric Hosmer, Simon Castro, Dustin Ackley, and Ryan Kalish, and anybody you feel might be around at 11. Just so you know all the guys like Bumgarner, Stras, Alvarez, Stanton, Posey, Castro can't be picked. You have to have less than 50innings pitched and less than 150 at bats.
I also wanted to get takes on a dynasty strategy. Do you like to go with guys who are going to be major league ready (JP Arencibia) or guys who might be in the majors in a long time (Dee Gordon)? Also, do you try to go more with position players or pitchers? Upside vs. Solid production? I'm leaning towards taking Lawrie or Britton but I can't decide. I feel like I should take position players more often than pitchers. All thoughts would be appreciated.

take position players first
pitchers seem to get hurt more often, and there really isn’t a HUGE difference between tiers when it comes to pitchers. I generally aim for highest upside.
Note: I generally finish near the bottom of my Dynasty League, but I took over a horrible team so I’m not completely convinced that it’s my fault. Though, I have had 5 years to turn it around…

In a 20 team league I would go with Brett Lawrie. I really like Britton but the division scares the crap out of me.
