Fantasy Baseball: August Strikeout Leaders Lead To 2011 Sleepers?
I posted an article on some 2011 pitching sleepers over on the SB Nation Fantasy page earlier this morning. Head on over and take a look.
Here is an excerpt:
A couple pitchers that jump off the page for me are Brandon Morrow, Wandy Rodriguez, Wade LeBlanc and James McDonald. Morrow leads the majors in K/9 this year by striking out almost 11 batters per nine innings. He has an ERA of 4.27, not so good, but his FIP 3.16 which is excellent.
Will 2011 be the year that Morrow puts it all together for fantasy owners?

Brandon Morrow
has the best arsenal of any starter in the American League. If he can stay healthy he has the ability to dominate for years to come…
I'm not sold. I want to see him sustain it over a longer period of time
But i can’t since his next start will be his last for 2010.
He has amazing potential
but he has to aim better and limit his walks and pitches or he’ll be knocked out after 6 every time
To Infinity. And BEYOND!!!
