Takahashi
I wonder if he will close for the Mets in KRod’s absence.

Yeah
Interesting. Parnell has the best numbers of the three. I wonder if they might go with the dreaded “close by committee” approach for the rest of the year.
what a tard.

K-Rod
Jon Heyman of SI Tweets the Mets might have a legit case to void his contract, since he injured himself outside the field of play. Interesting.
contract
I think it will be difficult to void it, but you never know. It is the Mets….and the soap opera continues.

That was the first thought that popped into my head on this one – I think they could have a legit argument, and I’m wondering if a team would take a chance on him after doing that. He really cost himself with this one, and if the Mets actually did manage to void his contract, I’m wondering if he would actually have a very hard time finding another job.
For those who lost K-Rod
There’s a lot of closing talent out there. Storen, Kuo come to mind off the top of my head. I believe Jenks, Valverde and Lindstrom all have question marks on them as well.
