Will Carroll-Under the Knife-Baseball Prospectus
One pitching guru I trust saw very bad signs in Clayton Kershaw's meltdown last night. He tells me that, "Kershaw completely lost his touch for the ball and looked baffled by it."
Yikes. I watched the game and he didn't have any control whatsoever. One curveball went to the backstop, and this was with the bases loaded, and after hitting two batters ahead in the count. Luckily it bounced right back to Russell Martin and the runners did not advance.
His next start should be interesting.
