Ryan Ludwick for Joel Pineiro. What do you see from Pineiro the rest of the year? He has looked good in all but a couple starts. He won't be the same as last year. No keepers. I couldn't get any other biters for Ludwick(Santana, Hanson, Gullardo)Pitchers of that caliber. So I think Pineiro is 3rd/high 4th tier pitching. 1st(Lincecum, Halladay, etc), 2nd(Named previously) These are my thoughts. Let me hear yours? If there are any LAA fans, how does Pineiro look this year?

Ludwick
is having a good season so far, but has benefitted from a high BABIP of .357. His career BABIP is .317, so his BA could drop some this season. he should hit for power hitting in front of Pujols, but his RBIs may be down.
Piniero has an ERA at 5.00 and is striking out more hitters so far this season. He is also walking more guys this season. His xFIP is just under 4.00 at 3.88, so he has some room to improve in the ERA category. His HR/9 is up as well, which was expected after his 0.46 HR/9 last year.
I think you could get a slightly better pitcher for ludwick.
