Any Advice?
My OF are stacked. 12 team Head to Head points. My SP is good, but I'm looking to bolster it. My OF are Matt Holliday, Andrew McCutchen, Justin Upton, Jason Heyward, and Chase Headley as a 3B/OF. Which one of these guys do you think could end up with the worst season? Which do I look to trade to get a top 25 SP? What caliber SP should I look for? A Ricky Nolasco? Better? Worse?

is this
a keeper league or not?
right now u could get the best pitcher for holliday, definitely a top 10 guy, but i dont think holliday will have the worst season.
if u have another good third baseman, then trade headley
maybe u could get headley for nolasco if that guys needs a third baseman
heyward or mccuchen will have the worst seasons on ur team, but will be very productive
It is not a keeper league.
I just traded Holliday for Ludwick, and Liriano.
I had Nolasco and traded Nolasco to a guy for Justin Upton and Jarr Jurjens. He wants Upton back, but I want Lee or Haren for him.
I probably shouldn’t even be shopping around yet because my team is undefeated.
Good trade?
I want to hear everybody’s thoughts so I can use it all to create my own.

I think you did just fine on that trade. Liriano really appears to have put it back together again this season, and the difference between Ludwick and Holliday is not as much as the value Liriano will bring to your team. Nicely done.
The guy sent you Upton and Jurrjens for Nolasco? Nice trade also. I would probably want Lee and something for Upton, as it sounds like he’s really regretting moving him. I still think Upton should be a top-20 to top-25 player the rest of the way.
Upton > Lee
I’m assuming you’re talking about Cliff. If you’re talking about any other Lee, then Upton >>>>> Lee. So, I agree with jumper – you need to get Lee plus somebody else for Upton. Great trades, though!
Another guy just offered me Matt Kemp for CJ Wilson and Leo Nunez
I took that in a heart beat. So now I have bolstered my pitching staff, Liriano for CJ Wilson. I have Kemp, Heyward, Upton, McCutchen, and Ludwick in the OF with 3 slots and 1 Utility. Stuck in the same spot. haha. I will work with the guys in my league and try to pick up another SP.
Might want to see about Heyward
Heyward is amazing but in the one year league I think you could get something good for him and he would be quite expendable now that you got Kemp.
People have a wide range of value for Heyward – he would be my choice for a player to move. (I don’t think he hurts you if you keep him, just that Kemp, Upton, and McCutchen will outperform him this year).
I was thinking the same thing.
I just sent out offers for Verlander, Johnson, Gallardo, and Tommy Hanson for Heyward straight up. Just to get a feel on how people think of him. Thank you for all the great advice. I didn’t know there was a fantasy sports SBNation blog but it’s great when other people share the same love for fantasy sports.
