Mike Leake or Jenrry Mejia
In my 14-team mixed keeper league, I have a dilemma. I am already building for 2011 essentially anyway, so I am looking at picking up either Mike Leake or Jenrry Mejia, as they have both made their teams' respective rosters.
Who do you think is a better long term keeper, Mike Leake or Jenrry Mejia? The fact that Mejia is being used as a reliever concerns me, but so does the fact that Leake will not have any experience in the minor leagues.

Tough Call
Mejia could take a few seasons to become what we hope as a SP given his start in the pen.
+1
Mejia could close for the Mets when KRod leaves after the 2011 season.

Leake
will probably have some growing pains, but he is a control pitcher who was very successful in college with a bulldog attitude. Small frame though. Curious how many innings he pitches this season, as I have him in several leagues.

Leake
I decided to go for Leake, as I think that the Mets are going to cause problems for Mejia’s development. I really don’t see a whole lot of value for him if they make him a closer, since saves are always available in this league. Now to just hope that when Yahoo sees fit to put him into their database, I get him.
Leake, only if you think Dusty will be gone soon. otherwise, the young Met.
