How does Yahoo! determine a player's rank?
I ask because I'm commissioner of a league where a player's rank has to be above a certain number (300) before they can be picked up by anyone. We're hours away from the first pitch, but I'm concerned that the minute Pujols goes 0-3 with 3 K's tomorrow, he's suddenly going to plummet in the rankings and we'll have a problem on our hands. The intent of the league is to have as much of the roster jockeying to be with lower ranked players, placing a premium on shrewdness.
Is it best to do a roster freeze for two weeks? Or can I count on Yahoo!'s ranking system?
