Chris Young or Mark DeRosa?
Okay so I have a delima to present today. I am in a 8 team league with some of my friends and my friend offered me a trade for Mark DeRosa. Would it be a good deal for me to accept this trade? I have plenty of depth in the outfield with people like Ibanez on the bench and Heyward as my utility man so I have some options when someone inevitably gets hurt later on in the season. So what do you think?

i dont know your scoring system... but derosa plays for the giants and they cant hit
At USC we're not snobs, we're just better than you.
Chris Young the outfielder?
I take Young over DeRosa easily. I think Young has the possibility to go 20-20 this season. I think DeRosa’s upside is at best 20 HR with a .260 average in SF.
Yes the outfielder
I think that I will accept the trade because of the upside of Chris Young because I have depth

I'd take Young because I think he is on the rise.
Derosa is probably on the decline.

Um, why is Ibanez on the bench when DeRosa is starting?
If neither are starting, kudos to your embarrassment of riches when it comes to outfield depth. I would take that trade, start Ibanez (if DeRosa was your starter), and put Young on the bench. In real baseball, I believe that proven mediocre veterans belong on the pine and young unproven players with upside belong in the starting lineup or in the minors. But in fantasy, proven-mediocre guys like DeRosa are junk pieces.
