Larry's team is lacking power, but has plenty of speed. I do like his outfield of Ellsbury, Choo and Hunter, but if it was me, I am spending $34 on a power hitter rather than Ellsbury. But Larry is a Red Sox fan and he got his guy. Ellsbury was the highest auctioned outfielder in the AL LABR draft.

Larry can't go wrong with Greinke and Rivera anchoring his pitching staff, but I am not sure he has much else on his staff.

I am curious about the following: how Rick Ankiel performs in Kansas City? and if Aaron Hill can hit 30 HRs again in 2010.

Poll
Can Shin-Soo Choo go 25-25 in 2010?
Yes, there is more power there, and he could run more in 2010.

No, maybe the power, but he won't steal 25.

I’m scared of Choo all of a sudden.

I read a report that he has to report back to Korea for his 2 years of duty in their army before he turns 30…being 28 in July…does that mean he has to leave?

Choo

There’s been a lot of talk about this online, but it doesn’t appear that he’s going to be leaving anytime soon.

ESPN posted an article about it outlining his options here

For redraft (single-year) leagues, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. However, it’s something to remember for keeper leagues.

I don't like this squad at all

Ellsbury should not garnish that much of your payroll. I bet Borbon went for $9-12 and will pay dividends{possibly}. Your asking alot of Jacoby to justify that price tag. I bet the rest of the league was siked to see all that dough come of the table.

Very solid

I like this team. Quite clairvoyant on the MIN closer situation, nabbing both Guerrier and Rauch. Plenty of cheap speculative upside (e.g., Hafner). This should be a competitive team
