Fantasy Baseball: NL LABR Draft Results-USA Today

Head on over to the USA Today to read Steve Gardner's post on some of the auction values in the NL LABR draft last night. Here is what he said about the top two prospects in baseball:

Strasburg sold for $9 and Braves outfield prospect Jason Heyward went for $14 in what could turn out to be decent bargains, depending on their playing time.

That and Hanley Ramirez sold for a $1 more than Albert Pujols. I just don't see him outperforming Pujols this year.

Interesting

I think Strasburg could offer more value in that format if he is 3/4s of his hype for 20 starts.

H-Ram

Position Scarcity.

H-Ram won’t outperform Pujols, but there’s a bigger dropoff to the next guy… You can win your league with any 1B in the Top 5-10, provided they stay healthy.
