Suggestions for formatting
I've been running a 10-team league with a pretty good group of owners for the last 5 years, and are looking to tweak our league to be slightly more interesting to us. It is a head-to-head league run on Yahoo with the following settings:
Current lineup: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, OF, OF, OF, UT, SP, SP, SP, RP, RP, RP, P, P, P and 5 bench (1 DL also)
Current stats: R, HR, RBI, SB, TB, AVG, OBP, W, SV, K, ERA, WHIP, K/9
Some of the ideas we've had potentially included:
adding another pitching category (to bring it to 7 and 7)
removing a hitting category (to bring it to 6 and 6)
potentially adding keepers
Does anyone have any other suggestions for things to add or change, and does anyone have any suggestions on a category to add for pitching (we've played holds before, and are against that one)
Thanks for all the help on this!

ideas
I would add keepers as it would keep the owners who are out of it interested in paying attention and making deals to play for next year. I would reduce the hitting stats to 6 by dropping TB.
One change I would like see made in standard 4×4 or 5×5 leagues is to use quality starts instead of wins as a category. Quality starts give a better picture of how a pitcher performs than wins.

OPS?
If you value using TB and OBP, why not consolidate them into OPS? My league has 9 pitchers as well, though we have one more SP and one less P to better simulate a minimum 4-man rotation. In addition, we require specific OF positions as LF, CF, RF, which is a bit more complex regarding player valuation and roster management. A second DL spot is added to help deal with the complexity. It seemed to work pretty well last year.
