Fantasy Sleeper: Dodgers Outfielder Manny Ramirez
Quick post. Site had issues during the lunch hour. This is MY opinion on Dodgers outfielder Manny Ramirez. Not Shandler's. Not Karabell's. Not Erickson's. ALL MINE.
I think Manny will outperform his draft position in 2010. He is getting labeled as old, and his performance was all PED-driven. I disagree. He was hit by a pitch soon after returning from his suspension last year which I think had alot to do with his drop in power.
And he is in his walk year in 2010. He will have millions of reasons to be at the top of his game. He will get many offers in the 2010 offseason to DH somewhere in 2011. So he will have the incentive to produce in 2010. Otherwise the offers won't be as lucrative. Manny showed what he can do when he is motivated in 2008.
I don't know his ADP, but it has fallen from last year. You may get a bargain if you draft him in the 5th round or later. Bill James project him to go 30-101-.296 in 2010....I have to agree. Others don't think he will perform that well. He could be a bargain in 2010.

He's averaging
64th pick overall according to MDC (I looked at yahoo scoring, not sure what other formats do to his ADP).
