Fantasy Baseball: CBS Sportsline NL-Only Experts Auction Results

No, I didn't participate in this NL-Only experts auction, but certainly would like to get an invite at some point, not that I am any different than any of our readers here at Fake Teams. I just write about fantasy baseball, but that doesn't make me an expert.

Anyway, CBS Sportsline held an NL-only experts auction yesterday and here are a few results from the guys over at Rotosynthesis:

Erik Siegrist

Final roster - left $1 on the table:

Montero $11
Baker $4
Votto $34
KJohnson $7
DeRosa $15
OCabrera $14
Gaby Sanchez $2
Ronny Cedeno $2
Kemp $41
McLouth $19
Coghlan $15
Josh Willingham $6
Angel Pagan $1
Allen Craig $1

Lincecum $37
Halladay $34
Pelfrey $4
Cook $2
Maholm $2
Jon Niese $1
Charlie Morton $1
Andrew Miller $1
Motte $4

Erik drafted two aces to head his pitching staff with Tim Lincecum and Roy Halladay. Mike Pelfrey and Aaron Cook are decent values at $4 and $2 respectively. His lineup has decent power, but no SB guys other than Kemp and McLouth.

Check out Derek VanRiper's squad after the jump:

Star-divide

Derek VanRiper

My roster from top to bottom -- prices definitely varied significantly depending on when certain players (my catchers, etc.) were purchased.

Y. Molina - 10
Hundley - 4
D. Murphy - 8
Weeks - 18
S. Drew - 19
Headley - 9
L. Castillo - 2
Delgado - 3
Holliday - 35
Upton - 35
Werth - 29
Heisey - 2
Cunningham - 1
Gamel - 2
Josh Johnson - 27
Cordero - 18
Kuroda - 10
Harang - 9
Cueto - 6
Volstad - 6
Kawakami - 5
Medlen - 1
Storen - 1

VanRiper's outfield will carry his team as Matt Holliday, Jayson Werth and Justin Upton all could go 30-100-20 for him. If  Weeks stays healthy, he could outperform his $18 salary. I like Heisey at $2 and he could win the Reds left field job out of spring training. Outside of Josh Johnson, Derek has a few bounce back candidates in Hiroki Kuroda, Aaron Harang and Jonny Cueto.
