Should I accept this trade?

This guy wants me to give him Frank Gore, in return I get Kellen Winslow (I have Gonzalez and Shockey), Jahvid Best, and Mike Williams from Tampa Bay. Williams would be a top 3 WR for me. Evaluating the trade shows that I'd lose 20 points over the course of the remaining season. I know Williams and Best would be good in years to come, this is a keeper league, but I need points this season too!

I wouldn't accept this trade

1. Gore is a lot better than the three players you would be receiving
2. Winslow is useless on your roster; you would never play him over Gonzalez.
3. Jahvid Best has been a useless fantasy play since week 2 and there are 0 signs that he is going to improve any time soon,
4. Frank Gore is a top 10 back and in a keeper league is someone you want for next season.
5. What are your other options at receiver?

I completely agree with eklevine...

and it sounds like you don’t really want to do it either.

Stick with Gore- he’s a stud and a workhorse RB.

2 of the players you would be receiving are on the same team (Tampa), which isn’t always a wise thing to do.

I think you can see how Gore is valuable, when he equals three other players for points.

I agree with both answers above

though I’d point out—if you’re positioned for a stretch run, TB is facing some awful pass defenses during the playoff weeks. Williams and Winslow could have some monster games. Something to think about.

I personally wouldn’t do this deal though
