Braves/Orioles Trade
Orioles Receive:
Tommy Hanson (2nd yr, $0.5m)
Michael Taylor ($0.3m)
Braves Receive:
Nick Markakis (5th yr, $1.0m)
Grant Green ($0.3m)
Ryan Adams ($0.3m)
Jemile Weeks ($0.3m)
Eric Hosmer ($0.3m)
Caleb Joseph ($0.3m)
I am the Orioles and I think I got the better end of the deal. I received a pitcher who had an amazing rookie year who could be a dominant pitcher in the upcoming years. I also get a solid outfielder to replace Markakis.
The contracts work that anyone in 1-6 years of playing are really cheap. I likely would not have been able to resign Markakis so I got my replacement now.
I did giveaway Markakis, Green who is a very good SS prospects, Weeks could be a very good 2B similar to his brother if he can stay healthy. Hosmer could be a top 20 prospect next year. Joseph is a sold prospect.
I did give up a lot but I got two premium players who are very cost controlled.
I view it as this:
Orioles Receive:
Tommy Hanson for 5 years
Michael Taylor for 6 years
Braves Receive:
Nick Markakis for 2 years
Grant Green for 6 years
Ryan Adams for 6 years
Jemile Weeks for 6 years
Eric Hosmer for 6 years
Caleb Joseph for 6 years
Obviously 6 years is their expected MLB time that I will/wouldve owned them.

Wow
This league is way beyond my scope. It looks awesome, though. The only thing I can add is that Tommy Hanson is the real deal.
