If your league doesn't give points for receptions by an RB, drop him a bit. |

He's really the starter? That's a question, not a statement |

As long as he stays healthy, and fights off TJ Duckett, and the passing game stays healthy, he'll be fine. |

It's hard to know how Mendenhall will affect him. I don't think it will be good for his fantasy value. |

I wonder how many carries he'll get? Fewer than 200? |

I should elaborate
He scored 7 times and had over 1400 yards with the same crappy offense on the same crappy team in only 12 games. To come in at 22 you pretty much should have him pegged for under 1000 yards and under 5 TD’s. Is that really what you envision?

If you want to drop him out of the top 10 because of
injury concerns or concerns that the Rams will really suck, that’s fine. But to drop him to 22 is silly. You’re right ILLZ that @ 22 Fake is assuming he’s going to be really anemic this year. That’s not happening. He doesn’t share any carries with anyone, and is used a lot in the passing game. Kevin Smith was a top 15 RB last year, only started 12 games, put up over 1200 yards of offense with 8 TD’s. Oh, and Detroit went 0-16, the high water mark for sucktitude. This speaks to how good Smith is and will be this year, but also demonstrates that even on a really bad team, the primary running back (if he has talent) will rack up yards and touchdowns.
Jacksonville was no powerhouse either, and MJD managed 14 touchdowns while still sharing the ball.
Steve Jackson is a top 10 RB.

Pierre is too low
He will be good this year. He will carry the ball much more than Bush. Speaking of that, why do you have Bush higher than him? You mention he is only moving up in PPR leagues…
Thomas was a beast down the stretch last year. My prediction is that he’s a top-15 RB by year’s end.
Oh and Bush is already injured. Knee swelling from off season surgery from what I hear.

Pierre Thomas at 26?
Yes, he is the starter. On the Saints offense the starting RB should be no worst than top 15.

Tend to agree
Thomas should be higher. I do have some worry that his touters seem to be completely ignoring the Reggie Bush factor. Esp in PPR formats
