A daily review of three preseason performances you should know about:
LeSean McCoy, RB, Phi -- 10 carries for 55 yards, 2 catches for 12 yards.
Real or Not? -- Real. McCoy is going to get a lot of work spotting Westbrook this season. If Westbrook is hurt (and he might be hurt right now), then McCoy is going to be a giant stud. Start tracking him now.
Matt Lawrence, RB, Bal -- 9 carries for 36 yards, 3 catches for 38 yards.
Real or Not? -- Not (yet). Rookie Matt Lawrence led the Ravens in carries but it was during Preseason Week 1so it doesn't mean all that much. BUT, while everybody is busy looking clever by drafting Ray Rice, keep in mind the Ravens have no problems using any RB at any time. If you don't believe me, ask LeRon McClain.
Rashard Mendenhall, RB, Pit -- 9 carries for 24 yards.
Real or Not? -- Real. Mendenhall could finish the season as a seldom-used third down back or as the Steelers starting RB. The latter is much more likely and he looks healthy so far. Another guy to track.
