Adam Dunn vs. Ryan Howard
I'm in a 6x6 keeper league (normal 5x5 categories plus OBP) and I have a chance of acquiring either Dunn or Howard. Who would you take for the next 2 years?
They're both 29, will turn 30 in november.
Howard is a career .276 / .374 / .578 hitter, but his SLG has dropped consistently each of the last 3 years.
Dunn is a career .250 / .384 / .523 hitter, and he's on pace to set career marks in each of the slash-line categories.

tough call
but Dunn has a remarkable record of consistently hitting ~40 bombs per year and getting on base around .400, while Howard has the upside to hit close to 50 HRs in any given year.
Dunn is the less risky choice and he is on his way to his 6th straight 40 HR season, but does the AVG improvement stick?

I think it will stick
very tough call though. I would take Dunn if you can use him. What position would you play him at

Howard, no contest
I was wondering if this was even a serious question….? Ryan Howard is a top-20 fantasy producer (MLB-wide, not just NL). On the other hand, I’m not sure Adam Dunn would crack my top-100.
