Preseason Fantasy Rankings: WRs 11-20
Not as exciting as an Erin Andrews peephole video (no, that's not the link to the actual video you pervs), but still pretty exciting.

Colston, Marques |
NO |
The heart of the Drew Brees Passing Machine, but he tends to disappear for games at a time. I'm a little bit wary. |
|
12 |
Welker, Wes |
NE |
In PPR leagues, he's as steady and reliable as it gets. |
|
13 |
Houshmandzadeh, TJ |
SEA |
He was a star playing in a division with the tough Steelers and Ravens. Imagine what he'll do with four games against the St. Louis and San Francisco secondaries. |
|
14 |
Jackson, DeSean |
PHI |
Donovan McNabb loves this guy. LOVES him, even more than Chunky Soup. He's going to have a huge season. |
|
15 |
Bowe, Dwayne |
KC |
He will love what Matt Cassel does for the offense, but not what the loss of Tony Gonzalez does to the offense. |
|
16 |
Owens, Terrell |
BUF |
This is Terrell's team, the rest of the Bills just live in it. He'll be as sporadic as usual, but almost certainly will top last year's totals in receiving yards and touchdowns. |
|
17 |
Smith, Steve |
CAR |
The Panthers have decided that they like to run the ball a lot. I'm ranking Smith based on the assumption that they can't run the ball as much as they'd like. |
|
18 |
Williams, Roy |
DAL |
He's now the WR1 in Dallas which will mean continuous double-teams. |
|
19 |
Jackson, Vincent |
SD |
I have to rank him lower because I think the San Diego offense as a whole takes a step back this season. |
|
20 |
Edwards, Braylon |
CLE |
He should be the sole offensive weapon in Cleveland, which means he could put up 1100 receiving yards. I'm not sold on Brady Quinn yet though. |

First off, let me say thanks for posting your rankings. They’re a great reference point for me as I begin to compile my own. It’s obvious you put your time into them and it is much appreciated.
I agree with this segment, with two HUGE exceptions:
Steve Smith is really at 17? He’s arguably a top 5 WR and definitely a consensus top 10. He’s coming off a 1400 yard season (in 14 games) and has at least 6 TD’s in 4 straight years.
DeSean Jackson at 14? You’re really taking DeSean Jackson and his 2 career TD’s over Steve Smith?
Yup
I like Steve Smith, but I’m not basing it off last year I agree, #17 is probably too low, but his 101.6 yd per game avg last year was a fluke. From 2007 to 2008 he played in fewer games, caught fewer passes, had a lower receptions per game average and had fewer touchdowns. I think he’s trending down.
I REALLY like DeSean Jackson though. 912 yards as a rookie and now he has Jeremy Maclin on the other side. It won’t take much for Jackson to get to 1200 yards.
