Jered Weaver... sell?

Should I be selling high on Weaver or holding?  I'm in a 12 team mixed, 9x9, H2H, non-keeper league in which SP is my obvious strength.  I actually have 10 SP's with value (Johan, Weaver, Vazquez, Nolasco, Baker, Harden, Bedard, Mazzaro, Hanson and Smoltz). I could use a power bat or a closer and have been shopping SP's.

Current offers on the table are:

  • Ibanez for Weaver (must accept soon as I'd have to eat the remainder of the DL stint)
  • Carlos Lee for Weaver
  • Berkman for Weaver
  • M. Rivera for Vazquez

Which bat will be the best from here on out?  Care to rank these offers?  Any input/advice/commentary anyone could offer would be great.

Me

Getting 2nd round hitter value is sellng high. I’d rank the offers Lee, Ibanez, Berkman and Mo. I’d rather keep Vasquez than Weaver.

Agreed

Weaver is breaking out this season but those are some serious bats you’d be getting in return. I’d hop on Lee for Weaver in a heartbeat.

Weaver is mediocre ...

Ibanez will fizzle, Lee is a sure bet, but Berkman is your best option. He is ready to break out in a very big way! Rivera is washed up. If you can get Berkman and/or Lee for Weaver I think that’s a good trade.

Lee

I’d take the Lee trade and prob take the Berkman trade as well…I just think Weaver is gonna fizzle out sooner or later….
