Brewers Trade Options
Okay, the Milwaukee Brewers need to make a trade for a top-notch pitcher before the trade deadline. Their pitching staff is horrendous. They have already sent Manny Parra to Triple A, but still need help. But what pitchers are out there? Jake Peavy but the Padres just put him on the Disabled List and his stock has plummeted. Maybe Erik Bedard although he's on the D.L. too. The question is, who are the Brewers willing to give up?

Mat Gamel would seem ot be the obvious player as his defense doesn’t play. I think Corey Hart may be a better choice and move Gamel to the outfield. Amongst the issues, would be the concern Gamel can’t play outfield either.
Javier Vasquez (sp)
I think the Braves may be willing to trade him but I don’t know if the slumping Corey Hart would be enough to get the Braves to pull the trigger or not…Maybe Hart and Hardy for Javier and Escobar……

Vazquez is too good to be dealt for an outfielder a teams deems unnecessary. Look what the A’s got for Haren a couple years ago as a jump-off point. Haert and Cain and a third B-level for Vazquez?
