The Orioles should want to be please their fans by putting the best product on the field. Not worrying about some profit maximization six years down the road.
Who cares about a catcher with six years of wear on him?
they should, but they still run a business. Wieters won’t likely achieve Super-2 status now, so they’re “safe.”
