Fantasy Trade Advice
14 team H2H league, one of each position, 3 OF, one UTL, 2 SP, 2 RP and 3 P.
Typical categories plus K per 9 for pitchers and Total bases for hitters.
I give up: Alfonso Soriano
I get: Elijah Dukes, James Shields, 1st round pick '10 (we get 6 keepers)
I am a new expansion team this year so I get quanity and give up quality but I think Dukes if his head is on straight could be 20/20 which isn't too far off Soriano...thoughts?
Much appreciated.

OK
It is not bad. I’d probably do it myself.
Just a note to file away. The Nats will be cleaning up some of the mess Bowden created in his desire for toolsey OFs. I doubt Dukes is as toxic as a MBS, but he might have the most trade value.
I like the deal
you get a solid OF who isn’t too far off Soriano’s Value, and you get Shields, a guy who can conceivably head a very good rotation with a very good defense behind him. The 1st round pick is nothing to sneeze at either (though it’s more like a 7th rounder after your keeper rounds). Being that it seems that our purposes that you are an expansion team and need all the help you can get, I’d say you are doing alright.
I just sit back and root for the taser
yeah, that's good
and most dukes/shields owners will make the trade due to soriano’s name.
