I am joining an existing H2H league (typical 5x5 rules) and want some advice on who to protect. I can protect 5 of the following +1 guy with less then 2 years ML service.

Jermaine Dye
Vlad Guerrero
Prince Fielder
Brian Roberts
Jimmy Rollins
Geovany Soto
Ryan Zimmerman
Francisco Cordero
Armando Galarraga
Carlos Marmol
Roy Oswalt
David Price
Francsisco Rodriguez

Right now I'm leaning towards protecting:
Prince Fielder
Jimmy Rollins
Roy Oswalt
Francisco Rodriguez
Geovanny Soto
David Price

Should I remove Soto or Price and keep Brian Roberts instead? Or should I remove Oswalt and keep Price as my lone SP and protect Soto and Roberts? Or is there something else?

I am more of a rotisserie-style player, but I’d consider keeping Roberts and letting Oswalt go. You know the whole WBC thing.

However, not knowing who is available at 2B or SP in the draft could change that.

I’d keep:
Their current ADP’s on Mock Draft Central are in parenthesis
Fielder (23)
Rollins (11)
Roberts (38)
Vlad (37)
Soto (60)

Price (132) as the <2 years guy

In a snake draft Vlad and Roberts will go well ahead of Oswalt (83) and/or KRod (63). I’d take Soto over KRod. Contrary to what his saves scream at you, KRod’s numbers were actually down last year. I’d rather have Soto because of the scarcity. I know that saves can be huge in H2H though so you might want to make him your target when you start drafting in round 6. I’m not always a slave to the ADP but, in a keeper league you’ll have a shot at getting Oswalt or KRod back if you really want them.
