Adrian Gonzalez (San Diego, CA): How much better would my offensive numbers be if I didn't play half my games in Petco Park?
Keith Law: (3:05 PM ET ) I didn't realize how severe his career splits were: .264/.336/.439 home, .299/.360/.544 road, and that includes two partial years with Texas. Even if he was a "true" .290/.350/.530 hitter, with that defense, he's one of the ... what, top 5 first basemen in the game? Behind Pujols and Teixeira, and probably Youkilis. Just eyeballing it, I think he has a case to be 4 or 5.
Agreed.
