Down on the Farm: John Sickel's Top 20 Dodgers Prospects for 2010
Head on over to Minor League Ball to check out John Sickels Top 20 Dodgers prospects for 2010 lead by his number 1 prospect SS Dee Gordon.
I recently traded for OF prospect Andrew Lambo in the UBA league and here is what he had to say about him:
7) Andrew Lambo, OF, Grade B-: I think he's better than he looked last year, doesn't turn 22 until August, could put up huge numbers in Albuquerque thin air. I don't think he'll be a star but I can see him as a solid player. People were too enthusiastic about him entering '09 and are probably too negative entering '10.
Lambo could be the Dodgers left fielder in 2011, especially if Frank McCourt still owns the team as McCourt is spending less and less on free agents due to his divorce. Dodgers fans can only hope that he is forced to sell the team to someone like Eli Broad or Mark Cuban.

just a little
I think Miller could see the majors before Martin. Martin needs to work on his control a bit. 5.5 walks per 9 is a bit high. I am excited to see how Miller performs in Great Lakes for a full (half?) season. I also like Lindblom and wonder if he will be the Dodgers closer of the future. I can see LA dealing Broxton once his arb numbers start increasing. Maybe even deal him this year if Lindblom can make the team out of ST and impress.
I do think their minor league arms are underrated, and like Withrow’s potential.
