WR and TE Dilemma
Vernon Davis and Owen Daniels, which one do you guys think is the better fantasy start right now? The 49rs are at the Colts and the Texans are at the Bills, so both are going up against good pass defences. Who do I pick?
Also my WR are abismal, is it time to give up on Terrell Owens and Braylon Edwards? Every week these guys seem to be limited to a few short yardage catches, with extremely limited big play potential. Advice?

As for your TE question, I think I’d stick with the guy who has the better QB in this case. Daniels has been an excellent fantasy TE and should continue to do so from here on out.
I do think it’s time to give up on T.O. but I’m not sure about Edwards yet. I’d probably try and see if you can find someone to take them based on name alone.

you’ve got a tough one there, as you have the top 2 tight ends in Fantasy so far. Daniels is averaging more yards, but Davis is averaging a TD per game, and seems to be coming on. I’d go with Daniels just for consistency sake, but you’ll be fine either way.
As for your receivers, I agree with Ian completely. TO is done, as the Bills with Dick “Yawn” Jaraun are horrible. Edwards numbers should improve as Sanchez improves, but I wouldn’t cut bait there. You can probably find a guy like Sidney Rice still on the wire to get some good numbers for you, but it’s probably too late.
"That's not a weird stat. Rickie is a run-scorer," Yost said. "It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter," Yost told reporters. "See, you guys have no concept. He's a run-scorer. So there's nothing weird about it. That's what he does."

edwards
his stock could change A LOT starting this week, since cotchery comes back. i’d hang on to him this week and next week.
of course it could make things a lot better since he’ll probably be the #2 on the team and cotchery will take coverage away from edwards…or it could drop it a lot if cotchery is taking edwards’ looks away. i wouldnt even pay attention too much what happens this week because i’m doubting that cotchery will be 100%.

Well..
I think you have your answer now. Daniels out for the season. It’s going to be a blow, personally, to my team I know.
