ESPN's Jason Grey
Grey wrote an article on Strasburg’s recent outing saying he was dominant, but had this to say as well:
“After his last outing, I mentioned how much trouble Strasburg had out of the stretch (losing too much velocity, no rhythm, not being able to locate) and that I would be watching to see if there were any improvements in that regard in his next outing, and there were. Strasburg was still sitting comfortably at 97 mph out of the stretch, letting it go and not pitching nearly as tentatively or defensively. That was a far cry from the 92-94 mph offerings he delivered with runners on in his second outing.
The one minor issue is that his breaking ball has been more of a chase pitch at this juncture, and he’s finding that professional hitters won’t offer at it outside the zone with the frequency that college hitters did. He does have the command to throw it for strikes, and I expect he will do so when he needs to, so it’s a little bit of nitpicking."

it appears KLaw won't
be moving Desme up his list:
Grant Desme (Phoenix Memorial Stadium)
So all these HRs I’m hitting in the AZL are no big deal? How worried are you about my K rate? Can I be a productive big league starter?
Klaw
Your inability to make contact is the main reason I am not excited about a ten-game sample of power production.

Eating Crow
Very happy that Aaron Crow is pitching well. He is a polished product and may be able to help Kansas City as soon as this season. A lot of talk surrounding whether it would benefit the Royals to move Soria; I’m not sure where Crow’s future lies yet, but pretty sure it will be in the rotation so I doubt he’s a fill-in were that to happen.
