Who Would You Rather Have: Yunel Escobar or Miguel Tejada??
Here's a quick post to see who you would draft first: the Brave's Yunel Escobar or the Astros Miguel Tejada?
Here are their stats for 2009 courtesy of www.fangraphs.com:
| Name | AB | H | 2B | HR | R | RBI | BB | SO | AVG | OBP | SLG | OPS |
| Miguel Tejada | 635 | 199 | 46 | 14 | 83 | 86 | 19 | 48 | 0.313 | 0.340 | 0.455 | 0.795 |
| Yunel Escobar | 528 | 158 | 26 | 14 | 89 | 76 | 57 | 62 | 0.299 | 0.377 | 0.436 | 0.812 |
They are pretty close in every category including SBs which are not shown since they each had only 5 SBs in 2009. Escobar gets on base more and is obviously the younger of the two, but the experts have been projecting Tejada's fall off for several years, but he is still a productive hitter.

Escobar
I think Escobar has much more upside than Tejada. I really dont think he would slump too much so i dont see much risk. But i also think Escobar could have a great year, and be a fantasy stud
Here's my question
I have to choose between protecting Escobar or Stephen Drew as my 2010 Fantasy SS in a 5×5 league…who should I keep?
Escobar
I would keep Escobar even though I like Drew alot. Escobar showed improvement across the board in 2009, while Drew did not. I am curious if Drew’s 2008 season was a fluke.
