Trade for Marshall and Tomlinson
I shipped a lot for Marshall, in a 10 Team non PPR league. I sent Portis, Bradshaw, Mason, and Manningham for Marsahll and Tomlinson. That leaves me with Steven Jackson, Ray Rice, and Tomlinson at RB. Marshall, Boldin, DeSean Jackson, Kevin Walter, and Kenny Britt at WR. Start 2 RB, 2 WR, and a W/T flex. I talked it over with some friends, most weren't against it except for one friend, who was very opposed to the idea.
Thoughts? Tomlinson at this point is just my bye week back who I'll use on weeks 7 and 8 with matchups against the Chiefs and Raiders.

Fine
Essentially, Marshall for Portis. LT for Bradshaw et all in non-PPR is acceptable.
In a 10-team, non-PPR, I don’t see Mason or Manningham as weekly starters. As a matter of fact, any of the players involved could find themselves on the bench. I am in a similar league and have started Slaton and MJD over Ray Rice and Bradshaw. Not to mention I added Pierre Thomas.

bradshaw’s been a decent player (a solid bye week replacement) and that’s what i’d classify portis as. and watch bradshaw’s value go up when jacobs gets injured (as he does every year). the 2 WR’s for marshall is a good deal. using those 2 rbs to get an injury prone & unproven tomlinson wasn’t. especially when your other starting rb is jackson, who’s also injury prone. overall it’s a push, but it could end up backfiring if both tomlinson & jackson end up being injured at the same time…especially if there is no one good to pick up on waivers.

I didn’t list that I got the two players he would have had to drop… Carnell Williams and Fred Jackson…..so I’ll be carrying the extra RBs in-case I have two RBs down at the same time.

nice. definitely makes it better, of course those 2 are risky (again) but i’m sure out of your 2 injury prone backs and those 2 risky for not doing well, you’ll have at least one who’ll have a good matchup everyweek

Apathetic
I think it’s almost a wash. Tomlinson is the Wild Card, and this week will probably be a good indicator of how things will fare. On top of that, what’s been a solid defense.
The one reason I would green light this deal is because your WR depth is pretty good.
