Portis and Manningham for Lenwhale and Driver?
Some guy in my league offered me Clinton Portis and Mario Manningham for Donald Driver and Lendale White. Is this a good trade?
For some perspective, my team is 5-0 so I'm sort of looking more to the playoffs than you usually would. This is a .5 PPR league with bonus points for 100 yards rushing/receiving and 150 yards rushing/receiving. Here's my team:
QB: Schaub, Big Ben
RB: Barber, Lynch, Moreno, Washington, Lenwhale, Jamaal Charles
WR: Calvin Johnson, Reggie Wayne, Roddy White, Donald Driver, Bobby Wade
TE: Jason Witten, Donald Lee
The only other thing is that this is a keeper contract league. Lendale White has a 2 year contract and all of the other guys involved have 1 year deals. So is it worth trading 2 years of Lenwhale and 1 year of Driver for 1 year of Portis and Manningham?

I'd do it
Even with Megatron’s injury, Driver is not going to get on your starting squad to often. Portis is one you could insert into your lineup today and be better off.
"That's not a weird stat. Rickie is a run-scorer," Yost said. "It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter," Yost told reporters. "See, you guys have no concept. He's a run-scorer. So there's nothing weird about it. That's what he does."
What do you guys think of Manningham?
Is he a full-time starter or will Hakeem Nicks steal some snaps from him?

i'm looking at things from a non-PPR perception since those are the leagues i'm used to being in
i’d say no way. you’re pretty stocked at WR and if he wants driver i’d get someone better from him than portis. i think manningham’s stock is going to start falling (but he’ll still be a legit #2/3 WR) because nicks is going to start stealing some points from him. driver has been doing very well & if you get an injury/bye week for one of your starting 3 wr’s (which is more likely to happen with 3 wr’s than one of 2 rb’s) they’ll be more drop-off from using manningham instead of driver than compared to using portis instead of lynch or moreno. plus looking at portis’s remaing schedule he doesnt have very many favorable matchups left…yet those are the only matchups he seemed to do well in.
possibly offer your #3 rb instead or with lendale in hopes he gives you a really solid RB. then you’ll be stacked.
We actually start 2 RB, 3 WR, and 1 RB/WR.
Sorry, I should have said that. But Barber, Lynch, and Moreno are going to be mostly every week starters for me.

I'd make that trade
Portis has lost a step, OL is in shambles, etc.
Even so, probably worth it. I still believe that when Green Bay’s OL gets healthy at SOME point, Jennings is going to start stealing production and take away from Driver.
I feel stiffed by the fantasy gods this year after taking Driver last year as a No. 2 WR, and then investing heavily in Jennings this year. This business, I swear.
