Marvin Harrison Injury Update
On The Rotowire Fantasy Sports Hour With Chris Liss, Will Carroll gave a report on WR Marvin Harrison of the Indianapolis Colts. He said Harrison looked completely recovered from last season's knee injury.
This got me to thinking. Would a healthy Marvin Harrison diminsh the fantasy value value of WR Anthony Gonzalez and TE Dallas Clark? According to Mock Draft Central's ADP Report, Harrison is going 55th overall and the 18th WR off the board while Gonzalez goes 86th and 32nd respectively.
This places Gonzalez ahead of WRs like Reggie Brown of Philadelphia, Patrick Crayton of Dallas and Santana Moss of Washington. This places him amongst the top group of 800 yard WRs. A healthy Harrison will make that impossible for Gonzalez to achieve.
TE Dallas Clark is also being drafted as if he will be as intregral to the Colts' receiving game in the same way he was last season when Harrison was out. His is currently the 5th TE drafted ahead of Washington's Chris Colley and New Orleans' Jeremy Shockey. That shouldn't last with a healthy Harrison.

Marvin
The injury last season was a freak thing, Marvin was blocking, Addai got tackled behind him and rolled up on Marvin’s legs from behind twisting his knee. The recovery time might have been affected by Marvin’s age, but he’s avoided injuries very well for his career.
Marvin saw his first game action this year, last night catching 3 passes for 22 yards vs Carolina.

True
So did hideki matsui until he finally got hurt and hasn’t been the same since. If Harrison is back to near 100%, he will hurt the fantasy value of Dallas Clark the most. Agree?

touchdowns vary already
and the rookie Clark-clone Jacob Tamme is looking good. Clark probably wasn’t matching last season either way, so yeah my head is fighting my homerism hard on Clark. Wayne became the go to guy, but that wasn’t a huge step up from being WR 1B. Clark got a lot of the catches Marvin use to, the quick perfectly timed short stuff and TDs that are so hard to defend.
