Do You Agree? Chester Taylor or Santana Moss/Reggie Williams

In a 3 WR league, your top two WRs are Jerricho Cotchery of the New York Jets and Nate Burleson of the Seattle Seahawks.  You have RB Adrian Peterson.

Poll
Who would you take?
Chester Taylor. Protecting the Peterson pick is more important than a 900 yard WR.

Santana Moss. Handcuffing is poor roster management. Don't draft a player if you need two rosters spots for him.
37 votes
Reggie Williams. With all the David Garrard hype, he's throwing to someone.

I voted Taylor. If you’re picking near the bottom of the 1st round, you don’t blindly handcuff your top RB (think Marshawn Lynch/Fred Jackson), but with your investment in Peterson, who’s no worse than the 4th pick, I see no reason to not take Taylor if he’s available rather than fill your 3rd WR slot. Behind Minny’s O-line and based on previous success, Taylor would probably perform as a low-end #1 RB should Peterson suffer a major injury. The difference between Moss/Williams and the next rung down (Anthony Gonzalez? Jerry Porter?) is inconsequential.

You know Selig? Ombudsman.

2nd handcuff

Norwood seemed to offer the most upside that late in the draft. If there was a WR I liked then, I’d have grabbed him.

Go with Taylor

Last season Taylor had 850 yds and 7 TDs. In a non-PPR league like this one, those were better numbers than Roy Williams had last season!

Taylor isn’t just a handcuff, he’s nearly a legitimate flex player on his own.

One of the few who voted for Williams

Call me crazy but this kid looks poised for a breakout year. He showed signs of putting it together last year and his 10 TDs were impressive. He’s still only 25 and he’s the focal point of the Jags offense. He’s my pick.

Good point

I think taking Williams over Moss may have been the actual decision. Taylor v. Williams. I’m moving RW up my board. Thanks
