Did the Indians just make a second Max Ramirez trade (young hitting catcher for a end-of-the-line veteran)?

this may be the first Logan White deal to blow up in his face. I say Logan White because I am sure he signed off on it.
Then again, Santana is blocked by one Russell Martin.
Although I think the Laroche deal may be a bad one also. But, both Manny and Blake have hit well and hit well in the clutch since coming over.
I guess you can say I was wrong about Blake.
What are the chances Torre pushes for McCourt to sign Manny in the offseason?

Santana has to get to the majors, hit and catch well enough to really haunt the Dodgers. In the mean time, any value he has a prospect will haunt the Indians until that occurs.
