- The Los Angeles Dodgers don't want Derek Lowe despite the expected drop in cost.
- The New York Mets continue to look for ways to dump Luis Castillo's 3 years and $18MM.
- SS Orlando Carbera looks SOL.
- The New York Yankees are closing their offices beginning Christmas day through the end of the year.
Does this mean there will be no unnamed sources from the Yankees' side in any rumors that pop-up in that period?
Oh yeah. He also mentioned that the Milwaukee Brewers' closer at this moment in Carlos Villanueva.

Maybe Olney should be reading the real estate pages intead
Lowe sold his Manhattan Beach home (listed at $5.7M) back in September. It’s hard to think of a clearer sign Lowe didn’t want to be back with the Dodgers.
