2007 Faketeams Fantasy Baseball League Update

Yahoo has posted the 2007 Fantasy Baseball League signups.
An email has been sent with a league invite to the following addresses.

IN THE EVENT THAT WE HAVE DELAYED SIGNUPS:
The sign up deadline will be 2 weeks. If someone from this list doesn't sign up within the 2 week deadline period, then i will post a diary of faketeams.com regarding the need for additional managers due to neglect of the request.

Hey I had an idea and wondered what you and some others thought about it. Since we have 14 teams is there any desire to set it up where 7 teams could be all NL while the other 7 all AL? I think it would be fairly easy (although a bit time consuming) to set the draft up by having each team exclude players from their draft list that play in the opposite league.

There may be some issues about claiming guys off the waiver wire but we could have some rule about that by making opposite league players ineligible to be picked up. There may be some scheduling issues as well since it is possible that two AL or 2 NL teams meet in the finals.

But it could be fun to do it this way. What do you all think?

Yeah I did not think it was free like that by default. A person would just have to edit their draft list to exclude ineligible players. Then the only players available for that team to draft would be from either the AL or NL. Anyway, it was just a thought.
